Overview
Walk the Line was a chronicle of country music legend Johnny Cash’s life, from his early days on an Arkansas cotton farm to his rise to fame with Sun Records in Memphis, where he recorded alongside Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins. Faires was honored to work on this film, stepping in for Dave Luckenbach during the first week of shooting. He was uncredited, but this shot is absolutely his. This opportunity came after Phedon Papamichael, having worked with Faires on The Weather Man, asked him to cover for a few days on his next film.
